Finally, it’s here.

After several months of speculation, the Viltrox speedbooster for Canon EOS-M cameras is here.

If you don’t know what that is, it’s an adapter with built-in optics that virtually eliminates the effects the crop factor when full-frame lenses are attached to crop frame cameras.

In this case, the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens will have an equivalent focal length of 56mm instead of 80mm it would have with just a standard non-optical adapter. So, much closer to the full frame that it was designed for.
